Introduction:

Leaving Rome in the early morning and crossing the green valley of the Tevere, you will pass the slopes of the Apennines before seeing the famous valley of Chianti and finally arriving in Florence.

The city tour includes the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistery, the Giotto’s Bell Tower, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio.

 

Accademia Museum or Uffizi Museum might be included in your city tour because we are able to book for you pre-reserved tickets for these museums.

You will depart Florence in the afternoon for the return journey to Rome.

You are not forced to book a guide, of course.

Anyway, your english speaking driver will take you around but he cannot escort and explain you INSIDE monuments and sites because standing to the italian law only the LICENSED guides are allowed to do this.

In case you do not book a guide, you will explore monuments and sites on your own, while the driver will be waiting for you outside near the car.
