You are not forced to book a guide, of course.

Anyway, your english speaking driver will take you around but he cannot escort and explain you INSIDE monuments and sites because standing to the italian law only the LICENSED guides are allowed to do this.

In case you do not book a guide, you will explore monuments and sites on your own, while the driver will be waiting for you outside near the car.

In case you have more than 6 persons in your group, headphones are required for the visit of Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica with private guide.

The headphones rental cost is not included in our rates - you will pay for it cash directly at Vatican.

Also, in order to avoid the long lines at Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel, pre-reserved tickets can be purchased online by credit card.

In that case the cardholder is required to complete an online form including credit card details and other information.
